It is quite possible to create a money making venture out of your loft if you are trying to find some ways of making some extra money. Most of us never use our loft space for anything other than storing junk. But with a bit of thought, you can actually start to make some money from this otherwise unused space; however you will need to clear it out first. If you are clever about how you use this area of the house it can add a good few extra quid to your pocket each month.

- Selling the junk that you have cleared from your attic is the first way that you can make some money. You can either do this online with something like eBay or use the more traditional methods like a boot sale. It can be hard for people who hoard things to actually let go and do this but it will be worth it in the end.

- You can convert the attic into an office or guest room with a little help from the money that you have made from selling the junk. You can soon start making a nice profit from this so even if it means you have to borrow money to do it.

- You will soon start making money when you rent out your renovated attic as either an office or a guest room.

- If you don’t want to turn your attic into an office or extra room then you might want to advertise it as a storage space. You would be far better storing someone else’s stuff in your attic and charging them for the privilege if you are only planning on keeping it as a storage area anyway.

These are just a couple of the ways that you can make money from your loft but there are loads of other ways if you just use your imagination.
